Founded in 2012 by Luc Berlin, LB&Co is a Digital Consultancy and Startup Lab.
We build world-defining applications and help organizations and people evaluate their business strategies and leverage web and mobile technologies to create innovative, globally-focused, and multicultural products and digital campaigns.

Luc has over 8 years of hands-on and leadership experience in Digital Strategy and Online Marketing (SEM, SEO, Social, Online Media) across industries such as eCommerce, and Software Technology. Luc's held business critical roles crafting and managing revenue and lead generating campaigns at companies such as ShopZilla, LegalZoom, and served as Director of Marketing and Digital Strategy at CrownPeak before leaving to launch LB&Co.
Luc holds a MBA in Global Business and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, both from Pepperdine University. His paper, "The Internet and Globalization: Ten Tips to Building an Effective Digital Strategy for Global Success" was picked for publication by Chief Executive China. Very much a global citizen, Luc has traveled nearly all 4 corners of the globe and speaks fluent English, French, moderate Spanish and dabbles with Chinese Mandarin.
Trivial Fact: A former "Biochemist", Luc was 1 of 6 students (and the youngest) selected nationally in 2003 to collaborate on a research study in Mali (West Africa) that developed the world's first anti-malaria vaccine. The program was led by the University of Maryland School of Medicine, the National Institute of Health and the World's Health Organization.
Luc is also a past recipient of the American Chemical Society Scholar award amongst a dozen other academic recognitions.
Josh Fester | CIO
Josh has been developing business and media streaming application for nearly 8 years. He specializes in building and leading technology teams. He enjoys the challenge of creating scalable, distributed high-traffic web apps and infrastructures using agile development, continuous integration, and utilizing the latest tools like Chef, AWS, JIRA, and Bamboo, development cycles are efficient and enjoyable.
Josh got an early start in business and full-stack engineering when he started a freelance development company during his senior year of high school. Since then, he's developed a strong knowledge of entrepreneurship and core web technologies along with a diverse programming experience with Ruby (Rails and Sinatra), Javascript (Node, Ember, Angular), PHP (Symfony, Wordpress), ASP.NET, devOps, and agile development practices.
A bonafide nerd, Josh is also a fitness buff and passionate reader of all forms of fiction.
Josh earned Bachelors of Science degrees in Computer Information Systems and Entrepreneurship at Missouri State University.
John Pavlick | CTO
A certified full-stack hacker and aficionado of hardcore programming, John enjoys building sophisticated back-end to web applications.
John got his start in programming in high-school after self-studying and acing the AP Computer Science exam. He then went on to work on a large, open-source DNS management system to be used in production at Purdue University.
Since then he's shifted his focus to web-related technologies such as JavaScript (Node, Ember, Angular), Python, PHP, Java, and others.
John has a BSc. in Computer Engineering from Purdue University.
